Returns & refunds
Textiles look different at home than they do on a screen. This page sets out your legal rights and the practical steps for sending something back. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.
1. Changing your mind — 14 days
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. You do not have to give a reason.
- Tell us you are cancelling within those 14 days by emailing [EMAIL].
- You then have a further 14 days to send the items back to us.
- We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods, or of receiving proof that you have sent them.
2. What we refund
Your refund covers the price of the item plus the standard delivery cost you originally paid. If you chose an express upgrade, we refund the standard rate rather than the upgrade.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used. We charge no restocking fee on a standard cancellation. Where you paid in a currency other than the one your card is issued in, your bank's own conversion rate applies to the refund.
3. Return postage
- Change-of-mind returns: you pay the cost of return postage.
- Faulty, damaged or wrong items: we cover return postage in full.
4. Condition of returned items
Unfold a piece, hold it up to the light, check the colour against your room — that is exactly what you would do in a shop, and it is fine here. Please keep the packaging until you have decided. If an item's value is reduced by handling that goes beyond checking it, such as washing, cutting or hemming, we may deduct that amount from your refund.
5. Where the 14-day right does not apply
The right to cancel does not apply to curtains and panels cut or hemmed to your own measurements, or to any item personalised with embroidery or a monogram. Everything else in the collection is covered.
6. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Separately from the cancellation right above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to:
- Reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
- After 30 days and up to six months, ask for a repair or replacement; if that is not possible or does not fix the problem, ask for a refund.
This applies even to items excluded from change-of-mind returns, such as curtains cut to measure, and we pay the return postage on faulty goods.
7. How to return an item
- Email [EMAIL] with your order number and say what you are sending back.
- We confirm the return address and any instructions for the item.
- Fold and package the item securely, ideally in the box it arrived in, and send it to [LEGAL ADDRESS].
- Keep your proof of postage until the refund reaches your account.
